"I feel like if I tell you I don't know one more time, you might actually lose it and go apeshit on me," Newt says, lifting an eyebrow in mock suspicion and taking a step back, hands held up in front of him. "You're not gonna, right? Because it took me like, ten years to figure out how to get rid of the giant sea monsters that were destroying my world, and I'm not saying it'll take me ten years to figure this out but... well, science isn't magic, dude. It's science."
If there was something he could do to speed up this whole process, Newt sure as hell would've done it already. He's sure the same can be said of Sirius and whatever spells he's capable of doing, the issue is that neither of them have been able to come with something that can help in the long-term. They're between a rock and a hard place, the both of them, and it sucks but right now, that's the way it is.
"And hey, if you think you can cook up a spell or whatever to rev things up, that's fine by me," Newt adds, dropping his hands to his hips. "Preferably, a Fix-Kieren-for-Good spell would be best, but I'm guessing you've tried that one already."
