Newt's totally taking the fact that Big O hasn't bailed yet as a testament to how far their relationship has come. Considering Owen had done nothing but actively try to get away from him the first day they'd met, Newt thinks that whether Owen wants to admit it or not, this friendship is starting to run deep. He's fine with letting it be unspoken, even though seeing Owen squirm in the face of sappy crap is very high on Newt's list of How to Amuse Himself, so he gives a casual shrug at the offer--if it's an offer, Newt's not entirely clear on that yet.

"Probably." He gives Owen a sidelong glance and a half-smile. "Do you have experience in this kind of field?"
