Newt's pretty pleased that Chuck doesn't argue the friend thing because come on, what else can they really be? He's not going to let difference in personality get in the way of hanging with the one guy in this city who understands what life had been like in a world full of kaijus. He kind of needs this friendship. Even though it apparently involves getting kicked, but it's fine, he can deal.
